Hello, my name is Bobby Beasley. It is my pleasure to serve as the new Headmaster at Southern Academy. I previously taught science at Southern Academy for the past two years. I have 34 years in education with 15 years in administration. I earned both my Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree at the University of West Alabama. 

I have been married to my college sweetheart for 34 years. Melissa is the math teacher at Southern Academy. We have two children: my son, Trace, my daughter, Melea, and son-in-law, Stephen. We also have one adorable granddaughter, Hadley Faith.

I’m excited to lead Southern Academy with the talented teachers, staff, students, and community members. My goal is to continue to provide a supportive environment where students can reach their highest potential. I look forward to interacting with the Southern Academy families and all stakeholders in our school community this year.
