Admissions
New family enrollment for Southern Academy opens up in the spring of each year, after returning students have had the opportunity to re-enroll. Classes are limited in size.
Requirements
Age Requirements
— PreK 3: 3 Years old by the first day of school (Must be independently potty trained)
— PreK 4: 4 Years old by September 1
— Kindergarten: 5 Years Old by September 1*
*Admission to Kindergarten of a student applicant who has NOT completed PreK 4 at Southern Academy is contingent upon passage by such applicant of a Kindergarten readiness test to be administered by the Southern Academy counselor.
General Requirements
All transferring students must:
— Present an official transcript from sending school
— Be in good standing in grades and behavior from sending school
Required Documents
— Certified Birth Certificate (not hospital record)
— Certificate of Immunization (not expired)
— Social Security Card
